It is necessary and a legal requirement for Slovene citizens to acquire their Vietnam visas before they gain access to Vietnam. For this reason there are two ways by which applicants for the Vietnam visas can acquire this document.

1. Direct application to the Vietnam embassy.
Since currently there is no Vietnam embassy/consulate in Slovenia, applicants can always make their applications to the Vietnam embassy from the nearest countries. They can also contact these embassies by telephone or email to get more information about the visa application procedures there.
If one does not feel like making a personal visit at the embassy, they still can acquire their Vietnam visas through visa by post service. However, visa by post service is not always available since visa application procedures vary across embassies. 2. Online application for the Vietnam visa.
