Sorry, there is no embassy of Vietnam in Cook Islands.
As a citizen of the Cook Islands, you need a Vietnam visa in order to gain access to Vietnam. As such, you can use any of the following two ways to apply for your Vietnam visa:
- Make a direct application to the Vietnam embassy
- Apply online for your Vietnam visa
Cook islands citizens can always make a direct application to the Vietnam embassy in their neighboring countries (Vietnam embassy in New Zealand) since currently there is no Vietnam embassy in the country. They can first communicate with the Vietnam embassy by telephone or by email conversation so they get more information about visa application procedure as well as other requirements during the process. As for the visa application exercise, they will need to make personal visits to the Vietnam embassy so as to initialize the process.
If one however does not wish to disrupt their daily routines and responsibilities but still acquire their visas to Vietnam, they can opt for the visa by post service. This service allows one to apply for the Vietnam visa without presenting themselves in person at the Vietnam embassy. All you have to do is contact the respective embassy and confirm that the service is available there.
Suggestion : you can contact Vietnam embassy in New Zealand to apply for Vietnam visa.
