There is no embassy of Vietnam in Republic of Kenya.
Kenyan citizens who plan to visit the Vietnam need to have a Vietnam. There are two ways by which to apply for the Vietnam visa when in Kenya and they include:
- Direct application to the Vietnam embassy
- Online application through our website.
Kenyans currently have to find the nearest Vietnam embassy to contact for visa application procedures as Kenya does not have one at the moment. They can choose telephone or email means of communication to get more information about the acquisition process for the Vietnam visa.
Applicants can either present themselves at the Vietnam embassy to make an application for their Vietnam visa or use the visa by post service. However, the visa by post service is subject to confirmation at the Vietnam embassy since application procedures vary across all embassies.
2. Online application procedure for the Vietnam visa
Kenyans can acquire their visas to Vietnam by applying through our website. The process entails the following few steps:
- Possess their valid passports and two copies of their passport photos.
- Visit our website and fill in the visa application form availed there with valid details about them.
- Pay the visa service fees and follow our instructions carefully.
- Wait for the letter of approval which we will send them within 48 working hours from the time of their application.
Visa acquisition
When acquiring the Vietnam visa, applicants have to present their letters of approval at the Vietnam international airport or at the Vietnam embassy they chose in their application form to collect their visas right there. They will then have to pay the visa stamping fees before they are given their Vietnam visas.
Points to note:
- Only visa applicants by air travel can collect their Vietnam visas from these three international airports in Vietnam: Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Cam Ranh and Da Nang.
- The passport document that one presents should be that acquired over six months ago
- Only recent passport photos are accepted (ones taken within the last six months)
