Vietnam visa requirements for Algerian citizens

We would like to bring it to your attention that a visa is necessary for Algerian citizens in order to enter Vietnam.

How to obtain your Vietnam visa from Algeria?

To pick up your visa for Vietnam you have two main options

1. Pick up your visa directly from a Vietnam Embassy or Vietnam Consulate:

You can contact the Vietnamese Embassy in your home country by phone, email or even personally, during business hours, which you can consult down below. There you shall be given detailed instructions on the procedures of obtaining a visa, and about the fees involved.

2. Obtain an approval letter online, with which you can:

a. Pick up your Vietnam visa at a Vietnam international airport, in the exclusive case of arriving by plane.

To obtain your visa by this method, you have to follow this procedure:

- Download and fill out the application for from the website.

- Pay up the sum representing our service fees. Detailed instructions regarding fees and payment methods are provided.

- You should obtain your approval letter within two working days.

Arrive at either of these international airports in Vietnam: Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang. Bring with you the approval letter, your passport, along with two passport size photos. After honoring the stamping fee, you will be given your visa on the spot. However, if you plan to stay in Vietnam three months at most, you will be pleased to find out, that you will be spared the stamping fee.

b. Pick up your Vietnam visa at any Vietnam embassy/consulate.

In this case you have the freedom of choosing which embassy or consulate to pick up the visa from, as long as you specify it in the application letter.

The procedure in this case is similar to that of obtaining the visa at an international airport. The main difference here is that you bring the filled out form, the passport and the two passport photos directly to the desired embassy. The waiting period for the approval letter is similarly 48 hours, and you will also have to pay the aforementioned stamping fee. Upon completing these criteria, you will be able to pick up your visa from the embassy.

Note: Conditions to apply Vietnam visa:
    - You must own a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.
    - Your passport sized photos must have been taken no more than 6 months before.
    - Your application letters must contain the same information that you have in your passport.
