Vietnam embassy in Tonga

  • Complete Name: Kingdom of Tonga

  • Native Name: Tonga

  • ISO-Code: TON

  • Capital: Nuku’alofa
There is no embassy or consulate of Vietnam in Kingdom of Tonga.

All Tonga citizens are required to have a Vietnam visa in order for them to enter Vietnam. Of all visa application procedures you may know, online application is the most convenient. It involves only a letter of approval that applicants get from us when applying for the Vietnam visa through our website. The letter of approval is then presented to the Vietnam embassy that one specified during the application online. Alternatively, one can present their letter of approval to the Vietnam international airport if he or she is an air travel applicant.

The other supportive documents presented along with the letter of approval at the Vietnam international airport or at the Vietnam embassy include two passport photos of the visa applicant and their passport document. Applicants are required to pay the visa service fees and the visa stamping fees at our website and at the visa collection points respectively. Once they successfully complete these steps, the applicant will be issued his or her letter of approval right there.

Points to note:

  • Give valid information in the visa application form as it will be compared with that in your passport during validation. Even the slightest prove of inconsistent information between your letter of approval and your passport might lead to cancelation of your visa.

  • There are only three international airports in Vietnam which offer the visa namely: Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Cam Ranh and Da Nang). These international airports are only open to air travel applicants who need to collect their Vietnam visas from there upon their arrival.

  • Visa applicants get the letter of approval from us by email within 48 working hours from when their visa application gets approved. This letter of approval should then be printed to hardcopy so it can be presented at the visa collection points along with the passport and passport photos of the visa applicant.

  • Applicants to the Vietnam visa should provide their most recent passport photos taken within the last six months.
