Vietnam visa requirement for Papua New Guinean citizen

Our plan is to inform you on how to acquire a Vietnam citizen as a Papua New Guinean citizen. You can apply for your Vietnam visa from Papua New Guinea in two main options:

- By applying directly from a Vietnam embassy/consulate

- By applying online for an approval letter which enables you acquire the visa from the Vietnam international airport or from the Vietnam embassy.

1. Vietnam visa directly from a Vietnam embassy in North Korea.

As there is currently no Vietnam embassy or consulate in Papua New Guinea, please search other countries to find the nearest Vietnam embassy to contact.

If it is so inconvenient for you to come in person to a Vietnam embassy, applying for a Vietnam visa by post is recommended. However, visa procedure may vary from embassy to embassy, please contact them in advance to ask if you can be granted a visa by post.

2. Apply online for an approval letter to:

a) Get the Vietnam visa from a Vietnam international airport ( air travelers only)

The procedure entails the following steps:

- Fill in the visa application form online at our website.

- Clear the due service fees with us and follow our instructions.

- Obtain the letter of approval from us via your email in 48 business hours.

- Present your letter of approval, your passport and two of your most recent passport photos at any of the three Vietnam international airports (Tan Son Nhat, NoiBai and Da Nang) and finally pay the visa stamping fee to collect your visa right there.

b) Get the Vietnam visa from a Vietnam embassy/consulate you choose in your application form.

This procedure entails the following four steps:

- Visit our website and find the visa application form. Fill it in with the required information from you and submit to the system.

- Clear the service fees with us in line with our instructions

- Obtain the letter of approval from us through email within 48 work hours.

- Present your letter of approval, your passport document and your 2 most recent passport photos at the Vietnam embassy. Finally pay the visa stamping fees to collect your visa right there.

Note: Conditions to get Vietnam visa:

    - Your passport must be valid and you must have acquired it in not less than six months ago.
    - The two passport-size photos you present must be most recent and taken in less than six weeks time.
    - All information in your letter of approval must be relevant to that in your passport.
